Middle School Principal
The first quarter is over and many parents picked up their student’s report cards at Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 24th and 25th. I would like to personally say “thank you” to those of you that did come in and meet with the faculty and staff. I appreciate the patience and cooperation all of you had on these two days while waiting to see your child’s teachers.
As most of you are aware, study halls are at the end of the day. In part, this should give your child time to get some homework done if they use it wisely. Talk with your child about focusing on getting their work completed and asking for help during study hall time. They are allowed to ask if they can go see another teacher to get help during study hall as well.
The 5th and 6th grade girls just completed their basketball season. The 5th graders finished with a record of 17– 5 and the 6th graders were 22 - 0. Congratulations to the 6th grade girls' basketball team on completing an undefeated season.
The 7th and 8th grade boys and girls’ basketball teams are underway now. Schedules are available on our website. Come out and support our student-athletes.
The 7th & 8th grade student council is sponsoring a trip to the musical “Annie” at Quincy Senior High School on November 5. Cost is $5 and is nonrefundable. Please see Mrs. Keefe for more info.
