We are beginning to wind down the year but we still have several weeks left. As the weather warms up, students tend to put their homework aside. Encourage them to complete their homework first and play later. Grades can still be monitored via Power School. If you are having trouble accessing the grades, please contact the MS office. The last student day will be Wednesday, June 4th with a 2:00 dismissal. The 7th & 8th grade students will be taking final exams on June 3rd and 4th.
All 5th - 8th grade students will receive a Macbook next fall. Informational/Training Sessions will be held in August. Mandatory attendance is required. More details will follow later in the summer. The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 19. We will dismiss at 2:00 the first week of school.
All incoming 6th graders will need a physical, dental exam, and Tdap vaccine. Appointments fill up quickly during the summer. Make sure your child gets the needed examinations and vaccines early. Your child will not be able to attend school in the fall until these items are completed. Also, if your child plans to participate in athletics next school year, they will need a recent physical.
